Representing Our Residents
Representing Our Residents is an on-going campaign to continue oral history collection, broaden outreach programs, digitize and make available oral histories already recorded, and increase the awareness for preserving all stories, particularly those underrepresented, in our Louisa community.
Help us reach $25,500 in grant-matching funds! Grant providers sustain and broaden their community investment in projects like these with matching contributions. You can show that your Louisa County community is invested financially in our work by donating today!
The Louisa County Historical Society is grateful for grants from: the Rappahannock Electric Cooperative’s Power of Change Grant, the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation Louisa County Fund, Virginia Humanities, and the Virginia Museum of History & Culture.
