This year's tour features six homes which embody the architectural styles of growing Louisa from the 18th into the 20th centuries. As Louisa Courthouse grew into the Town of Louisa, this tour will focus on how life for locals changed over time. Homes included on this year's tour are: Green Springs Plantation, Glen Burnie, Prospect Hill, Kalona, the Boxley House, and 206 Ellisville Dr. Advance Tickets: $50 Day of Ticket: $60 Single Home Tickets are available for purchase day-of for $10 per house. Facilities: Available at the Boxley House and the Sargeant Museum. Parking: This is a driving tour. Parking is available at each location. For those purchasing shuttle tickets, parking is available at the Sargeant Museum where the shuttles will depart. Lunch: Boxed lunches are available for pre-order from the Historical Society. Box lunches will feature a choice of turkey or veggie sandwich, chips, water, fruit, and cookies. PLEASE NOTE: This tour features homes built long ago, while many have been upgraded over time, not all buildings are handicap accessible. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. Properties may be visited in any order. Children 17 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. These tours are not geared towards young visitors. Children 17 and under may be permitted on a limited basis. Please call the Museum to speak with the Director.
